This restaurant serves [Tsuyu-Shabu], a new dish recently born in Kyoto. Tsuyu-shabu consists of thin slices of pork prepared by quickly passing them through hot water; they are then eaten by dipping the slices in a special tsuyu (sauce) made with dashi, an ingredient unique to 日本料理 cuisine. This is what makes it different from the classic [Shabu-Shabu], where meat is seasoned with ponzu (citrus-seasoned soy sauce) or sesame sauce instead. The resulting flavor is simple yet delicious, making it hard for you to stop eating! Fun fact: the name of the restaurant, ""Chiriri,"" is a mimetic word in 日本料理 that describes the state of these thin meat slices shrinking as they are soaked in hot water. Try the various types of [Tsuyu-Shabu Course (5,500 JPY - 15,000 JPY)]. The only foreign language available for their menu is English.
